The White House strongly condemned the killing of the Al-Jazeera correspondent and called for an investigation into her murder. Sherine died of serious injuries to the head while covering the Israeli forces' storming of Jenin camp on Wednesday morning, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Journalist Ali Al-Samoudi, who also works for Al-Jazeera channel, was also injured.
